Five months plus: Bumbo Seat
It was my wife who want this Bumbo seat and I don't know where she get the information about this seat but she really want it. At first we went to One Utama Shopping Complex to look for it. We went around the complex searching for this Bumbo seat but all baby shops were out of stock. My wife was so frustrated because we have to wait 2~3 weeks if we booking for it, so we tried to ask them to check with other branches whether they have stock or not. It was Mother Care shop who still had the stock but it was in Purajaya Alamanda Shoping Complex. We asked the shop to reserve it for us because we want to go there to buy it and they said OK. From One Utama I drove my car to Putrajaya just to buy this Bumbo Seat. Finally we got what we want and the color is blue, my favorite color.

Balik Kampung, Raya Puasa & Akikah
It was last year, October 2007 and we decided to Balik Kampung (go back to hometown) to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa (the muslim festival to mark the culmination of Ramadhan, the holy month of fasting) and do Akikah (a thanks giving celebration of the birth) for Amir. Since it was festival period and Amir's first long journey, we decided to break journey at Awana Kijal, Terengganu. We stayed there one night and continue our journey the next morning.

As I was told you above, Akikah is Islamic way or method to thank the god for the birth of son or daughter. In case of son, parents have to slaughter two goats or sheeps, cook it and make it as a feast. We invited our relatives to enjoy the Akikah luncheon.

Two~three Months
Now the baby looks more like a normal baby, no more premature baby. He gained weight for nearly 2kg within two months at home, almost double his size when he was born.
Another Amir's aunty from Kelantan, Dr. Rin. It was her graduation day at University of Malaya. Congrats..
For the first time Amir met his grandparents from Kelantan. Last time his grandparents couldn't met him because he was in ICU.
