One~two Months

From one month to two months period there were lot of things happened. One thing is the baby had skin problem which is milk allergy. The first part to start showing rashes was face especially near mouth. At first we thought it was normal skin problem and it will heal by itself, but the thing getting worst in just few days when the whole face has inflammation. We had to bring to pediatrician to get advice and medication. The cream that we received from hospital really work and in just few days the skin back to normal, but we have to monitor from time to time since the baby is premature.

The skin problem was always come and go and we had no choice if it become too bad, we had to you HCT cream or Elomet cream even though it has steroid.

One Month Birthday

There was no birthday cake with the candle. It just one month birthday for Amir Danish and everything was just fine for him. Now his face start looking chubby. All he did was drink milk, sleep and cry when he hungry.

Discharged From Hospital

My son spent almost ten days in intensive and semi-intensive care unit because he had a bit breathing problem a first and he unable to drink and digest the milk. Most of the time he relied on water drip to make sure he not dehydrated. There was many wire attached to his body to monitor the heart beat, temperature and of course water drip. There were many scars at his arm and leg because of the water drip. Anyone who saw this would feel sorry for him and I really respect the doctors who work there because I know it was very difficult to make sure the water drip attached properly since most of the premature baby is too small, some even weighted just 650 gram.

After going through all the hard moment, the baby was released to normal baby ward. He spent there just 3 days and then was able to go home. It was happy moment to our family because everything was OK after all. Here are some pictures of Amir on early days at home.

Newborn Baby

My wife was 7 months plus of pregnancy when her water broke. We haven't prepare anything for the baby yet and it was 11pm on Monday night. It was a panic situation for both of us since this was our first baby, but we were lucky enough since we stay together with her parents, we feel a bit relief. At first we went to Hospital University Malaya because it was the nearest to our house. We when straight away to maternity ward and hope there was a doctor who able to check my wife. Yes, the doctor was there but she seem like refusing to accept my wife since we didn't register with them for the deliver. It was 7 months plus, who knows this thing gonna happened and it was considered as emergency. The doctor said the hospital don't have enough ventilator and she can't guaranty everything gonna be OK. Due to this problem we ask the doctor whether any nearest hospital especially private hospital with available ventilator. She said all hospitals in Klang Valley don't have available ventilator at the moment. We asked again whether private hospital got it or not, but the answer was really disappointed us. The doctor keep telling us that we won't able to pay the cost if we go to private hospital even we keep asking the same question. This was the stupid doctor I had ever met in my life, didn't she know the value of life can't compare to money and she didn't even know who we are. Did she think we don't have money to save the baby life?

After few argument, we called our relative who is working as a doctor at General Hospital in Kuala Lumpur (HKL) and told her our situation. She asked us to come to HKL straight away and there should be enough ventilator there. After arrived at HKL, the nurse checked my wife, they allowed my wife to be warded. The baby born 3 days later and weighted 2kg. Since the baby was premature, the doctor had to keep him warded for 12 days to make sure everything was OK before let him out.
